My wife and I went to Ireland - I took many Thank You Cards to share with them since the Kennedy Family came from Ireland. People were very happy and impressed with the cards. The older generation in Ireland still admires the Kennedy Family that left for America years ago.
We heard the following story many, many times. People in their 70's who received our Thank You Cards said that they can remember their Grandparents had three pictures in the living room. "A painting of Jesus Christ, and a picture of the Pope and of Jack Kennedy." After the 4th or 5th version of this recollection, I would "Stop them and ask them if I could guess what the pictures were!" I was always right and we would laugh about our common experiences.
