For those few that might be following along, I made a second batch of JFK Thank You Cards for my second trip back to Ireland this year.  The cards were as well received by all as the ones that my wife and I shared on our first visit.  Now you know it all... ha

My Great Great Grandfather's Brother was a Spiritan Priest and taught at Rockwell College for 40 years.  I was invited to visit the College Archive to explore his place in their history.  It was a very rewarding trip. (Note that Rockwell is actually a Junior High and High School Boarding school - now for both boys and girls.  In 1864, it was named "College" as that was the state of "higher education" at the time.  It has been dubbed College since that time.)

I added a 1928 photo of Father Nep, as he was called by his fellow priests.  (Johann Nepomucene Muller)  He was apparently a brilliant man who taught multiple languages and could play/teach every instrument in the band that he directed.  His main love however was the organ - I did not get a chance to listen to it at Rockwell as school/chapel was technically closed for the summer.  However, all records rumor that he was a fantastic musician and would venture to the chapel/church late at night to enthusiastically play (loudly) all of the popular songs of the day.  I am proud to have some of his DNA!
